Serbian professional footballer Nikola Milenkovic who currently plays for Fiorentina has reportedly emerged as a January 2019 transfer target for Manchester United.
United manager Jose Mourinho is said to have watched the player during the international break and was impressed with his performances for the national team.
Mourinho was spotted watching Serbia cruise to victory over Montenegro midweek with rumors that he was on a scouting mission.
And according to the report by La Nazione, Manchester United have tabled massive £50 million for the possibility of luring the 21-year-old player to Old Trafford in January.
Nikola Milenkovic’s agent is also said to have admitted that his client would be willing to make the move to Old Trafford next year.
However Fiorentina are keen to keep their star defender and have reportedly rejected the Red Devils offer.
The club want to keep the Serbia international until the summer as they believe his price could increase.
